How to compare an app mode with a home game

Check the actual settings rather than relying on the game’s name.

Capture the mode identity

Write down the app or website name, the mode label and the visible settings. A screenshot can be useful for your private notes, but do not include personal identifiers when asking someone else for help.

Make a comparison list

Check the player count, deck, passing procedure, scoring scale and winning condition against your home reference. Mark an item unknown when the app does not explain it. Unknown is more useful than a confident guess.

Ask a specific question

A provider can respond more usefully to “Which rule applies in this named mode?” than to “Why is your game different?” Include the version and device if the question concerns the interface.

Keep conclusions bounded

Finding a similar score table does not establish that all other rules match. Our app introductions are source-based until an actual dated test record exists. They do not promise availability, performance or compatibility for every reader.
